Cookie Policy
Last updated: 18 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how WallDrip uses cookies and similar technologies on walldrip-art.com, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember your choices and collect information about how the site is used. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, local storage and tracking scripts; where this policy says "cookies", it covers all of these.
2. Your consent
Under the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Article 11.7a) and the EU ePrivacy Directive, we place only strictly necessary cookies without your consent. All other cookies — analytics, functional and marketing — are placed only after you have given prior, freely given, specific and informed consent through our cookie banner.
You can accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose per category. Refusing is as easy as accepting. We do not treat continued browsing, scrolling or closing the banner as consent. Non-essential cookies are not set until you actively choose.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings link in our website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
3. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always active)
These are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They enable core functions such as keeping your shopping cart, maintaining your session, secure checkout, load balancing and fraud prevention, and remembering your cookie preferences. Because they are essential to deliver the service you requested, they do not require consent.
Our store runs on Shopify, which sets a number of these cookies (for example session identifiers, cart identifiers and security tokens). Their typical lifespan ranges from the length of your browsing session up to two years.
Functional (consent required)
These remember choices you make — such as language or region — to give you a more personalised experience. If you refuse them, the site still works but may be less convenient.
Analytics (consent required)
These help us understand how visitors find and use our store: which pages are viewed, how long people stay, and where problems occur. We use this to improve the site. The data is aggregated and used for statistical purposes.
Marketing and advertising (consent required)
These track your browsing across websites so that advertising can be made more relevant to you, and allow us to measure the performance of our campaigns. They may be set by advertising partners and can involve the sharing of data with those partners.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are placed by third parties, including Shopify (our e-commerce platform and payment processing), and — where you consent — analytics and advertising providers. These parties process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. A current, itemised list of every cookie in use, including provider, purpose and duration, is available in the cookie settings panel accessible from our footer.
5. International transfers
Some cookie providers are established outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
Independently of our banner, you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse all cookies, delete existing ones, or warn you before a cookie is stored. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the store — including checkout — from working.
Instructions are available in the help pages of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in the law. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
